TERMS OF SERVICE
If you have a problem with any of these terms, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to paying for your commissioned piece.
1. GENERAL TERMS
✦ You must be 18 years old or older (or have guardian consent) to commission work from me.✦ You acknowledge that I'm a digital illustrator and my work is digital only, meaning there won't be any shipping of physical goods.✦ I have a very cartoonish/anime style with bold colors, but I am currently exploring new techniques so my style may fluctuate for a bit. Please specify the style you expect your work to be done in if you have a preference.✦ If you make requests outside my wheelhouse, please allow me more time for your commission as I will need to gather more references and work harder to meet your needs.✦ Requests can be made to delay posting finished work and/or to not stream the progress of work that is intended for special events.✦ No one is allowed to mint my artwork as an NFT (Non-Fungible Token); my art, whether commissioned, pre-existing or future, can NOT be minted into an NFT by commissioner nor anyone else. I also strictly prohibit usage of my artwork for AI learning. Anyone caught violating this rule will be blacklisted.✦ Do not remove my watermarks or claim my work as your own.✦ You are NOT authorized to change, modify, edit, trace, resell, or use my works without my permission.✦ I can attempt to draw most any subject but absolutely NO hateful/bigoted symbols OR anything that sexualizes children.✦ I reserve the right to decline any commission or client for any reason.✦ DO NOT GENERATE AI IMAGES FOR REFERENCES!!! If I suspect you have done this, I will not take your commission and you will be blacklisted. (If the reference already exists, it is discouraged, but I will accept it as I understand many sites we use to find references are choked with AI slop already.)
2. Payment
✦ DO NOT purchase any commission from me if you cannot afford it.✦ Full payment or a 50% deposit is required before starting your commission unless otherwise specified in the proposal. This is to ensure security for both client and artist.✦ Payment plans are available, but must be discussed and agreed to prior to work beginning.✦ If we have discussed a payment plan and you stop making payments, work on your commission will stop until payment resumes.
3. REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
✦ Full refunds only apply before the work has been started and you are "In Queue" OR if I fail to provide progress/communication by the Guaranteed Delivery Date.✦ I reserve the right to cancel the commission at any time with no refund if I feel that the client is behaving inappropriately or violates the TOS.
4. REVISIONS
✦ Any edits (within reason) can be made during the sketching phase; once the draft is approved, I work until the piece is finished. All edits made after completion of the piece will be subject to additional fees. Any needed edits that are a result of an error on my end will be free of charge.✦ If you have a problem with anything in regards to the commissioned piece, please tell me right away so we can find a solution together.
5. DEADLINES AND DELIVERY
✦ Generally, orders will be completed on a first paid, first served basis.✦ I often jump between art pieces depending on my inspiration/energy/time/etc, therefore completion times can be very variable.✦ I will generally give a farther out deadline than I expect to be finished by in order to allow for unexpected life events. If the proposed timeframe does not work for you, please let me know.✦ If you have a specific deadline you'd like to meet, please list it in the request form. If you need the project completed in 3 days or less, a rush fee will be applied.✦ I will do my best to keep you updated on when your order will be completed, but please allow a minimum of 3 months for order completion.✦ If anything comes up on my end that will slow the progress of the estimated delivery time I will let you know ASAP.✦ You can ask about your commission status or for WIPs anytime you desire. These images will usually include a watermark and be smaller than the finished piece.✦ Once the piece is finished, you will receive the full-resolution image along with a web-friendly size if you needed. Note that all pieces are digital and there is no physical product.
6. USE
✦ Commercial use of my artwork must be agreed on beforehand by the commissioner and myself. Rights to the image for merchandising use may be purchased at any time. Feel free to contact me in the future if you would like to upgrade your license.✦ Please disclose your intended usage for the artwork beforehand so I can discuss cost estimate/any additional fees with you.✦ Credits to me (© supremeleaderv; the artist) or a link tracing back to one of my socials must be given anytime the art is showcased (e.g. emote attribution on twitch, tags on social media, etc.) even if you have purchased commercial rights.✦ If you receive a watermarked version of an art piece, please use that for social media posting. (This is to mitigate AI theft.)
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
✦ As the artist I, Supreme Leader V, not the buyer, maintain all and absolute rights to my works; this includes publishing the work on my socials, adding it as a part of my portfolio, streaming my progress on the work, etc. (Exceptions to public posting if NDA fee is paid.)✦ I have rights to repurpose unused process work for future projects, personal or otherwise.
8. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION / COMMUNICATION
✦ Currently, you can contact me at any time through VGen's and/or Kofi's Direct Messages, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Please at least allow 72 hours for a response before messaging again about the same issue.✦ I'm autistic, so it is impossible to overexplain something to me. PLEASE give me detailed descriptions and provide plenty of references of what you need for your commission. I also enjoy little MS Paint doodles. Just whatever will help me see the vision you have.✦ Let's keep things respectful and professional. Timely updates from both sides with make the process smoother.
9. OTHER
✦ Please follow the Policies and TOS of any site(s) you may use to request a commission from me. If you are unsure what they are, navigate to that sites' help section for more information.
⚠️ If the buyer violates any of the terms stated above they will lose all rights to the commissioned artwork created by me, Supreme Leader V (the artist), and I will have the right to explore profiting/recouping losses from the commissioned artwork in any way I see fit. If you have a problem with any of these terms, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to paying for your commissioned piece. ⚠️*This TOS may be updated or changed at any time.
